Hey, this is the One Hundredth Post!!
A Hundred Posts!!
Since the Rats and Goblins were still on the table from last night, I decided to add a bit more to each side and play a solo game. I'm glad I did. It was super fun and also made me realize how little I really know either one of these armies. I feel inspired to try and play a few more games with these forces before the next game with Prof. Elf. This time the result was a crushing Skaven victory. I think I'm learning now how to deal with Goblin fanatics. Anyway, here are a few pictures:

2000 point Skaven vs. Goblin
Game Two of the Goblin/Skaven match-up. Game One was such a disaster that I'm not even going to mention it. Game Two finds the two armies in the southern lands of the Empire.
Didn't take many pictures during the game. Ended as a Goblin victory. Highlights include the crazy amount of miscasts made throughout the battle. Both of Prof. Elf's Shamans (a 2nd lv. and a 4th lv.!) ended up being blasted off the battlefield, while my two Plague Priests each suffered a wound through miscasting. Actually I don't think a single spell got off during the whole game! Ah, Warhammer.

Dark Age Time
Seeing all these SAGA games everywhere made me want to play with my Saxons and Vikings. Called Private Noob over for a Viking raid on a Saxon village. Rules were sort of LOTR.

In the Garage Playing Second Edition Warhammer
The Orcs of the Smiling Face Tribe were out for their morning choir practice when suddenly they were attacked by Reaper Highlanders!
A huge part of the pleasure of playing Second edition is the rule book, or rather, the rule books. Such a nice contrast to the slickness of today.
Actually, haven't finished the game yet. Maybe tomorrow. Just wanted to get something on the site again. Orcs!
